Many that do “good” works of the flesh or motivated by the commands of men/women do not lead to eternal salvation with Jesus Christ. It is only when men/women are motivated by the spirit of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, living within them is a sign of their eternal salvation with Jesus Christ.

Many of the salvation by “grace only” people who profess Christianity, with no fruit or works of salvation motivated by the Spirit of Jesus, the Holy Spirit, will have a consequential awakening when they stand before Jesus in their last day.

Bottom line(s): Works leading to eternal salvation are the fruit or outward signs of the individual's faith in Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit dwelling within you.

If you do not have Faith in and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit, your works initiate from the flesh (man) and do not prove eternal salvation. Their allegiance of obedience is to the State and not to the Word of God.
